St Aubin dredging concerns are set to be discussed at an in-person meeting after residents questioned recent harbour clearance work carried out on 19 March, according to a letter sent to the community by an official named Sadler.

The correspondence acknowledged worries about potential impacts on seagrass, wildlife, beach conditions and access to St Aubin’s Fort.
“While we are not currently aware of evidence linking the harbour clearance works to all of the issues described in your letter, we recognise the concerns that have been raised and take them seriously,” the letter stated.
The official said a face-to-face session would allow the background to the works to be explained and give residents an opportunity to raise their concerns directly.
