The game lasted 1 hour, 53 minutes, which MLB said was the second-fastest in the 27-year history of the ballpark and the quickest Giants-Dodgers matchup since a 1:50 contest on Aug. 30, 1958, the second game of a doubleheader.
Giants opener Yunior Marte, now 0-2, yielded both homers among six hits over five innings. Earlier Friday, San Francisco reclaimed former closer Camilo Doval off waivers after having traded him to the Yankees before the 2025 deadline.
