Coffee with a Cop will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, at the Starbucks in Queen’s Marketplace, 69-201 Waikōloa Beach Drive in Waikōloa, according to the Hawaiʻi Police Department’s South Kohala Community Policing officers.

The Coffee with a Cop program is a national effort aimed at building stronger relationships between police and the communities they serve. Organizers say the informal setting helps encourage open dialogue and trust.

Residents of all ages are invited to stop by, ask questions, discuss neighborhood issues, share ideas, and get to know the officers who work in their community.
