According to the American College of Surgeons, the Punchbowl Street hospital will retain its highest-level trauma designation through Aug. 11, 2020.

The designation indicates Queen’s maintains the staffing, facilities, and capabilities required to deliver the most advanced surgical care for patients with severe injuries.
