With the high school season less than two weeks away, Waipahu football new branding is taking center stage as Waipahu High School introduces a refreshed visual identity that nods to the program’s roots while looking ahead. The Marauders revealed updated logos anchored by a redesigned skull-and-crossbones pirate, along with several new secondary marks.

Program leaders said the rollout preserves the team’s longstanding identity and attitude while giving players and fans a bold, modern look. The rebrand centers on a sharper, more detailed pirate emblem that keeps the familiar skull-and-crossbones motif.
Additional marks provide flexible options for helmets, uniforms, and merchandise. According to school officials, the visual update reflects the program’s commitment to honoring tradition, often associated with the Marauders’ signature Black motif, while presenting a cleaner, more contemporary style for the 2026 campaign.
Waipahu’s new branding arrives as preseason preparations ramp up across Oahu, with kickoff nearing and teams finalizing on-field and off-field details. The Marauders expect the refreshed marks to appear on gear and facilities as the season gets underway.
The fresh look arrives as other Hawaii football programs, including UH football under Timmy Chang, continue their own efforts to build momentum with fans. Waipahu supporters are expected to see the updated visuals across campus and at games once the new season begins.
